PlaceMaker Design Studio, LLC specializes in land planning and design, landscape architecture, and urban design for public and private clients. Our full range of services begins with site selection and analysis and continues through project detail and construction oversight. We offer an experienced staff that has worked extensively on creating memorable places while assisting clients in maximizing the potential for their projects.
A favorable outcome for our projects depends on the satisfaction of both our clients and the people who will ultimately enjoy each place. With each project, we focus on realizing a desirable conclusion for our clients. We also strive to reveal the unique character that is inherent at the heart of every place.
Working in collaboration with architects, developers, engineers, contractors and public clients, the firm focuses on melding natural and creative man-made environments into a unique, holistic experience.
Our firm was founded in 2010 with the intent of providing seasoned large office experience in a small office setting. We believe this affords our clients a personal touch and competitive advantage. The founding principals have worked on many significant urban design projects, parks, communities, and town center studies. They understand “placemaking” is often a catalyst for vibrant interconnected cities that connect people and great places. Having experience on projects of many different scales, the principals can work through the big picture broad strokes as well as the executable finer, detailed design required when assisting in the development of a project.
